Dr Sam Topley is a sound artist who works with textile crafts to create new musical instruments, interactive artwork and installations. She shares her projects internationally through performances, exhibitions, workshops and presentations. Many of the projects arose from Sam's academic research and her PhD thesis is available to read here.
Sam's work is often participatory, co-created or educational. She has worked with many schools, colleges, universities, arts and cultural organisations, libraries, makerspaces and community groups. Since 2012, Sam has worked with:
